How the score works
Each of the five categories holds four checkpoints scored 0–3 (Not started → Complete / validated). Categories are weighted equally, so your overall readiness is the average of all twenty checkpoints expressed as a percentage. The development stage maps that percentage to where most products sit in the concept-to-production journey.
This is a directional self-assessment, not an audit — its real value is surfacing the lowest-scoring areas so you know where the risk is. A high score doesn't guarantee a smooth launch, and a low score early on is completely normal. Use it to focus the next conversation.
